Unsupervised Mothers Day

This week the featured stamper challenge heads to Polly's gallery where i found this beauty and started grinning from ear to ear. I love that ( every.single.detail) and I knew that I had this two busy moms printed paper hoarded from way back when... but, it was always "too busy" for me to use as scrapbooking papers even though I loved the colors and it made me think of my mom and grandma's.
So, the first change was the colors went from mostly yellow to mostly blues. I did cut the neckline in a V as the shirt neckline is not drawn on the stamp and then I attempted to give her a strand of liquid pearls and they all blooped together. ( such is life)  this is a cropped shot that shows off I cut that gal out with a gryo-cut tool. (if you don't have one of these you need one, you're welcome! ;) ) ( the insides of her arms) if you didn't know this is one of the gals in the Gina K set called sew pretty. ( she is not all that big, or my eyes are aging take your pick) and so, she was stamped on a scrap cardstock and paper pieced , colored with markers and put up on pop dots.

I had made some paper flowers and I realized I really needed to make some changes so, I switched out the paper flowers to crocheted blooms used a stapler to attach the vintage sewing measure tape and put the threads through the button holes. added a third button to the apron pocket. So, I eliminated the brads and moved both flowers to the bottom corner. the sentiment ( Dylusions) is also up on pop dots. This is A-7 in real life. Hope you all had a great Mothers day (even if you were not unsupervised today)
