If a tree falls in the woods...

So, I'm way behind in the birthday cards dept. that I should have mailed, and the more I thought about the people the more I could not think of a single thing to make ( for them) so, these will go out late... this was the first one because, I liked this bo bunny paper. and this one is 6" in real life, this My Favorite things birthday greetings set came in the mail a few weeks ago and its still on the table because, It had not been inky yet ( or moved to a tin ) stamped with some Versafine Olympia Green. the edges were rubbed with some creamy brown chalk ink. the bird was dropped and smooshed into a vintage photo inkpad. the brads are from MM.

and I am hoarding the other sheets of that paper, so. this embossing folder came in the mail at the same time as this stamp set so, It's on the table too. used that Belleek Inspiration technique ( basically brayered always artichoke ink onto the panel of the embossing folder ( the part where the name (cuttlebug birch tree) is printed) before putting in the cream cardstock and running it through the big shot. a few of the parts of the trunk I did run a couple of distress markers into the crevices for more depth. the edges were inked with whale gray chalk. this one is 5X7 in real life. used some forest moss and iced spruce distress on the sentiment panel. ( that's up on pop dots) the raffia is just taped around to the back sides.

which lead me to this one which was done from the scraps of the previous one its 5" square in real life, the Judi Kins aspen trees background was stamped with versafine on the vintage cream and then colored slightly with some distress & copic markers and prisma pencils. the photo corners are probably heidi swapp but maybe chatterbox. ( cannot remember anymore) the birthday is also from the MFT birthday greetings set cut with an back to basic's spellbinders die.
