Birth Day {pending} Challenge card

now this is a little bit of a play on words... there is a "BirthDay" card challenge on the paper and such blog (going on now, you have until the 21st to enter) When I seen this little dragon i thought, oh snap dragon's haha ( haven't found a sentiment that says that yet, you know part of me has snapped and the rest of me is draggin') and decided it would be fun to color (in blue) I know what? ha-ha the index thing from Wild Rose studio (Fergus with Tulips) has it colored in pink or peach or something if i remember right. oh and this is a clear stamp. *gasp* I know I know... nah its not the end of the world, I thought I remembered clear stamps needed stamped in pigment ink so I stamped it in versafine and colored it with copic's. the versafine only smeared a teeny tiny bit and it doesn't look bad in person. found this scrap of lemonade basic grey pp in the stash and thought it looked good with the colors in the image and added this sentiment (ranger stream ink) from Impression Obsession just because, ( I haven't used it before and its *almost* a birthday card ;) ) the rose sheer trim is from an recollections package as is the tiny brad. there is a bit of creamy brown fluid chalk ink along the edges of the die cut panel (labels 17) these panels are up on pop dots. I think that the idea it is Pink and Blue means it could be given to any mom to be. (not very baby-ish i know) Good Luck to everyone entering!

I love it - so cute! you actually own a clear stamp?? ;) hehe - I think moms to be can get tired of all the babybaby stuff and pastels, so this is perfect IMO
