a day off

These dew drops were an gift from basketbrains in my PIF Easter exchange box, ( Thanks Stuffy!) the tulips image is from Karen Lockhart stamps. This ones A-2 in real life. the textured green brown and blue cardstocks are from Bazzill.
UK sized feeling poorly Elyzabell stamped on Neenah solar white with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Prisma Pencils. the sentiments from Hero Arts, with some Distress tea dye ink color dusted on it, the main image has some antique linen distress ink. May Arts Ribbon, Pink textured cardstock from Bazzill, Basic Grey blue and pink pp. this ones A-6 in real life.
A very long time ago now i had won more mice ( surprise surprise) and i tend to color images of stamps as i buy them but sometimes they go into the tin and don't become cards for a while... so, its been long enough I've forgotten this particular stamps name. but it was cut with an petite oval nestibility die as was the scrap of brown bazzill. so the brown is an negative and the blue peeking around the image is the cardbase. this is A-6 in real life.
Another oldie, but i happen to remember its name *smile* "butterfly express with an catslifepress sentiment. stamped on Neenah solar white. ( which is quickly becoming my favorite white cardstock) May Arts ribbon, blue and brown textured cardstocks are from Bazzill. the blue scrap was run through an cuttlebug swiss dots folder. There is a bit of gellyroll glaze stardust pen on the wings of the butterfly but most of the coloring is prisma pencils. this one is 5 X6 in real life.
Now this was an real treat found this stamp CHF "Easter basket" on the way home from Portland last week in Stampin Cats in Salem and they had happened to have all their Holiday Stamps half off when we were there so i picked up this one and another Cornish Heritage Farms one at the same time. this is stamped with versafine vintage sepia ink on Hammermil cream cardstock with a bit prisma pencil added to it, the printed paper is from my scrap bin, same with the ribbon. the card is A-6 in real life.
This huge huge geranium image came to me via the PIF threads from Scrapperwannabe ( Thanks Misti!) its colored with Prisma Pencils and then i did something a little different with this one, i placed the cardbase into the cuttlebug and cut out an petite oval out of that and mounted this image from the backside (inside) the card, which of course meant i had to line the inside of this card as when i color i tend to flip images over and "clean" the blender pen on the back sides of the images... there is no sentiment until i need to send it away.
just messing around the tree is from the SU set Thoughts and prayers, stamped in versafine toffee ink on neenah solar white. then i colored over the leaves with an green copic marker. the with love was done with an cuttlebug border, the the embossed parts were colored over with an marker. this is a-2 in real life. the more mustard cardstock is scraps from the card below. the green texture is Bazzill.
told my self that if i am going to order from Alice's su party next week i need to make the stamps i bought at Di's party in Feb. inked... :) so sentiments from Hero Arts, the mini brads are from doodlebug. this was stamped with versafine toffee ink on neenah solar white then i colored over the tops of the leaves with an copic marker. the shape was done with nestibilities curved rectangle dies. its A-6 in real life.
Now this is what started this card stampede... got an box of happy mail from my mama the other day with this gorgeous anna griffin botanical stamp in it (Thanks Mom!) and i had to ink it up... stamped with versafine toffee ink on neenah classic cream cardstock. the edges were trimmed with an friskars mini pinking shears. the sentiments an partial image from an Hero Arts border. This is A-6 in real life. and that is how my afternoon went... we went to yard sales this morning, found some cool stuff. (mostly at the first one and the almost last one) but we had a blast going out and went out to breakfast too. so all in all it was an great day. something i have learned is your dust does not go anywhere if you take a day off and don't deal with it...
I now have 2000 songs in my ipod *gasp* havent listented to them all yet but its fun to come across the ones i remember...
