Some things from this last week...

I have wanted this particular stamp SO BAD for sooo long I squealed when I found these inside the tin from Jan. :) colored with prisma pencils this is 5X7 in real life.
a bling view
This is also a PSX image i bought it unmounted and have since mounted her to a wood block and made this card. but, because she came to me as naked rubber that's all i know about it may call her dreamin fairy on my snag lists...
This one is also PSX and i photographed it and posted it even though i really hit the MISS part on the colors... will try it again some time wanted to do pastel neutrals but, the green was too yellow. and that threw the whole thing off i think.
just a simple lockhart image colored with pencils, that ribbon came inside the tin from Jan also was tied around the package. :)
you know i think that collage is just not my thing, even if you start with a stamp that does it all for you... this particular image i bought out of a clearance bin a few years ago. even sent it away to an image swap at peas a long time ago hoping to see what someone would "do with it"
This cute penny black puppy came to me from an image swap with pesc in the stamp shack... I don't know what his name is but, i think he's just darling. (of course i am starting to think that about every penny black critter) lol. this ones a little skinnier then usual maybe 4 inches wide by 6 inches tall. have to measure. but something like that.

Blissfully Happy Mail...

This one came all the way across the big pond from England from Sue (Artyfarty) Sue i totally Love this esp how you tied the ribbon through the petal!
This one came to me from Shirleyjean Thanks Shirley! ( this was inside one of those plastic post office baggies but they only mangled the envelope the card and atc are just perfect! :) )
This one came to me from Sherri. ( I love flipflops) in my mind i call you Sherri~flipflops so i always have to stop and look it up... I love the little metal swimsuits what a fun thing to find. :)
This one also crossed the big pond from the UK and was made by Joan Lakeslady. (ahh i am so jealous that you and sue are stamping together...) I need a shakie to up and move to Oregon. this is gorgeous Sue Thanks!
This fun one made me laugh, pelican Popsicle is what i thought when i seen it, its from Angie (Shuggy) Thanks Angie!
This one arrived today from Canada from Countrycowgirl Donna, and i know i did not do it justice with the camera... but take my word for it its absolutely breathtaking in person. :)
The Ladies in the stamp shack have been flooding my mail box with thank-you cards and little treasures for being part of the creative team last year there. so, this is what has arrived so far. as more come in i will keep editing this post. This absolutely stunning tin and card came all the way from Alaska from Jan. Oh my gosh i am nearly speechless over this.
Look for your self.

RAK Card from Dibby Debby also sent a card all the way from Australia too. I just love the layers arrangement on this one.
RAK Card from Firefly Sally sent me this, and its even better in person. a funny little side note Sally was also one of the first people to welcome me to the stamp shack when i first joined and made me feel welcome there.
RAK Card from ctinyjoy, Cheri sent a card with a wicked cool fold too (scroll down) to see it "open"
With the sides pulled open the center pops up. (almost like a grown up version of those little paper games girls used to play in the school yards. remember that lift this flap read the message inside. :)
RAK Card from CCstampin12 Joannie sent me this one and its in one of my most recent favorite colors. who knew i would find a shade of blue to fall for and wouldn't you know it its already been discontinued...

some quick cards from this evening

Wasn't my turn to cook tonight haha... This is one of those stamps that i bought in a "lot" auction to get some of the other mice being sold... and i wasn't real sure I would ever use it, or think of a reason to use it told myself the other day you may as well color one of them and see what happens... the swirly red printed vellum is from my scrap bin so unknown, mice are stamped with India ink black on gp110 and colored with prisma pencils and a little bit of stardust gelly roll pen. this is 4 1/2 x6 inches in real life.
blingy glitter view...
another one of those stamps that i have stamped so many times for raks and such that i have never played with him... (Stamping bella Fixafella) the sentiments from A Muse, the hinge is from Hampton Arts stamps, the big screws are from the SU set called aged to perfection, the 123Measure is from Post Modern Design... the mini screw brads best guess is Karen foster followed by MM (not sure have had them for years) this one is 4 1/2 x 6 inches in real life. textured cardstocks are bazzill, the fixafella is on whisper white with some old paper distress ink color dusted along the edges. the stamped "tools" are done with versafine vintage sepia on SU Kraft...
This one I'm gonna need my notebook for, this is TWO PIF images, the cowboy and the SU sanded background... the pp is from Cosmo Cricket the stars are beading spacers and the hemp string is from the bead isle at walmart, this one is 5X7 in real life. so that's it... dinners almost done its nice to have a few hours to your self.

yesterdays Cards

This particular house mouse image (Stampa Rosa Summer showers) is one i bought used on eBay a few months ago. I stamped this way back when and just finished coloring it a day ago or so... the ones where the mice are so small in the design are really really hard for me to color (because contrary to popular belief most my pencils are NOT that sharp, so its hard to do the dull points in such a small space actually) this is just a lazy thing but, all my favorite colors are looking stubby again so i will have a marathon sharpening going on before the next image gets colored... I use prisma pencils, I just go over and over the image until the color looks right to me, I go lightly in layers. some layers are many colors, i add the grays... you know they really DO need to make more colors in pencils... markers come in 4 times as many colors... This is just a simple one 4 1/2 x6 inches in real life, the sentiments from the Gina K set make a wish, the mat is kraft the cardbase is PTI spring moss.
This one the giraffe and sentiment are both from Hero Arts, they are stamped with versafine vintage sepia on hammermill 110 and the giraffe is lightly colored with pencils then i used an orange bic mark it marker around the brown spots. very simple, the pp is from an old old slab (best guess is either provocraft or dcwv) the lace is unknown as are the brads, the really rust cardstock was run through the textile cuttlebug folder. the cardbase is SU confetti cream and is 5X7 in real life.

the Magenta Iris is stamped on Georgia pacific 110 and colored with prisma pencils. blue texture paper is unknown, the rubber soul sentiment is stamped with deep lagoon versafine ink and punched with an 1 1/4 round punch, there is a pop dot under the sentiment, the ribbons are unknown. the Kraft cardbase measures 4 1/2 x 8 1/4".
the Amsterdam errands (inkadinkado) is stamped with vintage sepia versafine (as is the IO sentiment) on staples hammermill 110 cream cardstock and colored with prisma pencils. ribbon is unknown. the mini brads are from creative imaginations. textured cardstocks are bazzill. that pp my mind is blank ( probably Anna griffin or K&Co. something like that) this one is 5X7 in real life.
