The long slim lavender is a new Memory box die and while I was cutting ( from watercolor paper) and coloring some for someday use I grabbed the sheet of the older lavender stems and blooms too. I had topped off my watercolor palettes that have the tube kind in them on that day and they were waiting to cure a little and so, I dug out these Prima ones. Oh, I have decided I think I would much rather have half pan paints than tubes that kills my fingers to open and close them so, I am going to try to use them up more seriously now I think.
More Happy mail arrived on Monday night. ( Stamps Happen vintage stamps found on eBay)
So, tuesday afternoon I stamped off the through the storm image on that cheap Accent Opaque paper with versafine and colored with Polychromos & Prisma pencils. ( this is 4X9 and I did use a slimline die to cut the window front into the front of the card base)
I used the index sticker as a color cheat sheet and even added in some steaks of glitter gel pen and white gel pen to the "storm" and I did touch up the lighthouse with a tiny black sharpie pen.
So, that's about it from me, I will be driving all day for work today. And the exciting thing is, I have not been expecting to be on the list to receive a shot for months from now. ( I am 50) and I seen in the paper here yesterday that my age group will be eligible at the end of this month so, that is exciting. ( they approved a 3 vaccine here this week and that boosted the numbers of what is flowing out from the factories to be given) YAY :) Hope you all are continuing to do well & thanks for stopping by.

Oh that’s brilliant that you’re in line for a jab - woohoo, that’ll be a good boost for you! I love those lighthouse stamped images, they remind me of the Peter Sheeler line and wash tutorials on YouTube. The lavender die cuts are fab too, I know I’d end up sticking them to one another, me, the cat..... :-D

Oh those are really lovely stamps, beautiful composition and images for so many occasions. I think I have one of there's which is a tree but i'd have to find it to know for sure, it's an old one. The lavender looks almost real, could you imagine giving it a little spray with lavender oil before sending, so calming.
Happy WoywW Hugs Tracey xx
P.S Great news about the vaccine x

What a lovely picture! So beautifully coloured and styled too. Stay safe and keep smiling, Lisa-Jane #7
What a feast for the eyes this week, Stacy. I love the lavender and all the gorgeous seaside images too. Great stamps! Thank you for visiting, and I'm glad you are enjoying the progress on the cat blanket. I started joining some squares together today which was really fun - I've found such a lovely pattern for that. Thank you for your good wishes for my upcoming operation - I have no idea when it will be but not any time soon, I don't think. They must have a massive backlog since they stopped all elective surgery several months ago. As my (hospital doctor) dad used to say about long waiting lists, "By the time your name comes up, you are either dead or better." He used to get very frustrated by it, but like all the doctors, they have no control over it - it's all down to the administrative system unfortunately, and that's the part that needs the big overhaul.
Happy belated WOYWW,

Wow, great stamps and great coloring. I can never do that. I'm happy that the vaccination eligibility age is lowering. I work for a school district so I'm able to get mine, so I am tomorrow. Thanks Dorlene #30
I thought that was real lavender when I first saw your pic! Love the new stamps and Through the Storm would have been my first choice to play with! Just catching up with the posts I didn't see the other day. Happy WOYWW! Susan #2
Hi Stacey, loving that lavender die!! I'm with you, I think the watercolour pans are easier to deal with, easier to store as well. I am looking at your stamp haul, I have a very old wooden stamp that looks a very similar style, (gets off butt to go and look) yes it must be one of a series it's called 'Boat Scene'. I have found it very useful over the years, I love the way the image is in and out of the central frame. Hopefully your jab will be very soon - I must say I felt a great sense of relief once I'd had mine, seemed like a positive step out of this madness. Have a good week, stay well, stay safe, Cindy #18 xx
Hi Stacey. I love that lavender die and your new stamps are great too. It is good you are having your jab, it makes you feel there is light at the end of this dark tunnel. Angela #17
I thought that lavender die was real, and was just about to moan at my lavender plant that it wasn't looking half as good! Love the beach scenes. Stay safe, keep crafting! Happy Late WOYWW?! (((Lyn)#16
