Inspired by {Brown Paper Bag}

This week Angie has sent us hunting inside the Brown Paper Bag site where I came across this post about embroidered state hoops. And I had intended to give this a little bit of embroidery floss for texture but, having a new puppy meant downsizing that goal to something do able while she naps.

Meet Isabella who goes by Izzy. She is 8 weeks and a few days old in this shot and entirely too smart for her own good some days. ( or it feels like it on the sleep deprivation schedule we have)

 This first one the state outline stamp is from Studio Calico Hello Forever - I love Oregon. the word Oregon is also from that set. the Tree is from the Hero Arts the adventure begins and the come visit is from the Town Essential set also from Hero Arts. this stamped panel was cut with a Simon Says Stamp stitched square die and this one finished out at 5 1/2" square in real life.

 The happy new home sentiment on the left is from the Hero Arts House Stamp and cut set and the adventure begins set also from Hero Arts. these were stamped on Neenah solar white  and cut with a Hero Arts nested rectangle die and finished out at A2 in real life.

This is a portion of the image that caught my eye that is the second photo down in this post here about state embroidery hoops. I did leave out the ferns and mountain so I could have room for the words on mine and also made all the mats not round. You can find this article here to read about that and this challenge here at splitcoaststampers to play along with us. Thanks for stopping by.
