A Pink Baby Card

This week the featured stamper challenge heads to Beatrice's gallery filled with scrapbook pages... and I came across this one, and thought that is utterly amazing. (too bad I don't really scrap much) and then I thought, you know you could make that a card... and then I thought some more and said honestly I don't have a lot of free time today to do all those details)... but, I really loved her page and decided to tweak it into a CAS version card...
So, I started with the My Favorite things typewriter text background by heat embossing that with some SU blushing bride powder on some textured white cardstock. and it was pretty stark the white peeking through so, I randomly inked on some antique linen over the top. ( to suit this previously colored Prickley Pear baby that's been on the table a while just waiting for the right idea to come along) This panel is up on pop dots. and so, the Heart was cut from the corrugate to mimic all the vertical layers and the words were cut on banners for the same reason. instead of swirls I tied on some burlap string and switched the flowers to crocheted ones my Mother In Law made years ago. This one is 6" square in real life.

Oh, Stacy! You used my all time favorite baby image. You did an amazing job! I just love how you framed the image with the large heart behind it, the twine and dangling sentiments. Beautiful!!! You are a stamping rock star in my book!
