Happy Birthday Alice

Today is Alice's birthday and this will not post until after I give it to her at lunch time. ;) she reads this blog. This is the SU sunflower background done on some PTI vellum with versafine toffee and heat embossed in stampendous clear detail powder. scribbled some distress markers on the back side of that to add some color and so. the leaves are prima or wild orchid ( not sure they are in the same jar together) Button is vintage.

every time I see her she needs Thank-you cards for all the people helping her and when she started unpacking her craft room she found all her ink pads tossed into a box together. so besides the lack of time there is now a lack of supplies. and I thought well, you've made her lots of cards before at least this is something she can use in the mean time.

all together there are 7 of this design ( because I goofed one of the sunflower panels trying to decide where to angle it) which is how there were enough of the other scraps to make the tag haha. these are 5 1/2" square in real life. the ctmh paper was sanded slightly after it came out of the honeycomb folder. but, it didn't need much. what I am finding with the big shot is, it will distress thin papers if you dry emboss them in it. makes me curious to see what it will do to all those old brass stencils I have in the closet.

any ways She likes sunflower so just started going with that, and then there was this space in the basket so,

made 8 more in an A-2 size with some toffee ink for the bloom but, pretty much same things. just simple thank-you cards.
