More random photos

This was done just for the fish... ya know the halibut? a few months ago while i was putting together my "make your own crazy day" gift box. My person had wished for lots of Our Daily Bread and i had picked up this sentiment set for myself when i was shopping for her... Somedays it just annoys me to no end when the lace wiggles in the sewing machine and i don't see it until i have it back on the table. and other days i say well heck it is Hand Made! ;) colored the paper flower stems with an Copic as they are white in the package. just messing around with some scraps. thought about sewing these together and making them into a book mark but, at the moment they are still both just single tags like this...

odds and ends...(Easter Photos)

Okay not your typical Easter shoot... we had some play time after lunch before we were supposed to head over to Tim's parents house yesterday afternoon & J wanted to practice driving... and the missing polarizer filter for the fixed 500MM arrived in the mail a week or two ago... so it was basically any excuse to head back to the wild life refuge. ( figured we'd have the place to ourselves on a holiday) (mostly did) wind was whipping. the part of the drive that goes near where the eagles nest is closed now ( since they are nesting) ( This is what J wanted to see most) and so he was bored and we didn't see too much wildlife. This was shot with an 100-500MM sigma lens. at about 500MM f/32 1600ISO 1/125 second. this is natural light, has not been tampered with electronically just cropped. was trying for a "landscape" not sure this really works but, there are a few ducks or geese about halfway up on the right side of this shot... 1/400 of a second, f22 ISO400 at 50MM. J does not have the patience to drive slowly and stop nicely (without startling the birds ) yet.. so we will have to try this again soon ( when he's to busy to want to drive) haha. sneaky hubs shot these with the fixed 500mm and a 2X teleconverter and a polarizer filter.

Tied egg Easter

Another last minute Easter card, Started to tie the sheer ribbon into a bow and at the last minute thought oh, just wrap it... this egg was die cut from an spellbinders nesting egg with handmade paper the Sentiments from Impression Obession done with Olympia Green versafine, the green flowers are Prima and the metal cream one's an MM brad. this card is A-6 in real life.

Some quickie Easter Cards...

Long time no cards... stole some time to make some egg die cuts for a friend this afternoon and then made some for me to tinker with. SU Chocolate Bunny, Sentiment, word window & designer label punchies, antique brad. 1/8 & 1/16 pop dots, Martha Stewart fringe scissors, Pinking Shears, vintage ric rac, Basic Grey & Cosmo Cricket printed papers, the cardbase is unknown, bunny's stamped on some Neenah classic cream with Versafine ink. The edges of this have some distress walnut stain. the egg diecut shape is from spellbinders. This one's A-6 in real life. Even more simple, and smaller A-2 in real life. some MM velvet, (forgot who makes that pp now) the liquid pearls are lemon yellow. little bit of antique linen distress along the die cut edges.

Her first day at work. Somewhere in the first week or so... last week at work, under Junes desk ( which is really a kennel ya know) Found the paint tray in the bedroom a while back... no photos of the puppy with paint on her, had to toss her in the tub before the whole house got printed. playing in the snow with papa Mancell gets to take her home with him friday night after work...
