Now this is something i put together for Tim's parents for Christmas, His mom is sick in bed so it may be a day or two or three before they receive it. its 6 inches square in real life. the PSX image is colored with prisma pencils the mat under this is blush blossom cardstock and the sentiments from Hero Arts, the lace is vintage and unknown. the green pp is from Basic Grey (the reverse side of the holly print on the tag above) and the textured cardbase is bazzill.
This is one i did with a new stamp that i ordered with part of my gift certificate from my wrak ss (artsylori) Thanks Lori!! its stamped on GP110 and colored with prisma pencils then cut out and layered to the cream stardream shimmer cardstock the red lace is unknown, the green satin is offray. that sentiments from the stampin up set fancy flexible phrases and was die cut with nestiblities dies. the cardbase is Mellow moss.
this was just for fun one i put together for Tim yesterday and also a new house mouse stamp thanks to Lori, its called eek, eek ,eek... I know what your thinking when you see this...
what you don't know is that its been at least 5 years since Ive talked on the phone and i have a phone program now and what happens is if i flip the switch on the sound processor from the everyday program to the phone program it searches for the phone and blocks sound where i am at so that the ear is focused on the noise coming from inside the phone not where i am at, so the first time i tried this i called from home to the office on my cell phone (which i have used for a couple of years now just as a text message box) (and its pink) lol, and now i have tried it twice with the land line phone at work. funny thing when i use it with my cell phone i cannot hear myself talking but, i think when i used the land line there was a slight i could almost hear myself speaking and the getting the receiver in the right spot seems to be tricky too because, haha on my i kept putting it to my ear (which is deaf) and I'm not sure about this part but, I think that it maybe that i need to get the phone receiver over the place where the magnetic connect.
Interesting thing this road to better hearing. its kind of a funny thing people always ask me every time we come back from seeing the Dr. and having it adjusted "how is your hearing" to which the reply has become... Probably better then yours *smile* it's bionic... lol so, then i know what they mean so i give them the latest comprehension levels (which is 80%) and what makes speaking on a phone possible. neat thing, got an email from the surgeons office today so we go back to the hospital to see the surgeon in January (this is a pre-surgery medical briefing type visit) then after that i find out when i will become bi-lateral with the second ear. this is thrilling and scary at the same time. thrilling/excited is winning though. :)
a close up look at the bling. the Jupiter (red) stardream is a shimmer cardstock and the cloud 9 (friskars) printed paper has like its not glitter more like diamond glaze 3-d shinny glue on bits of the hearts on the paper. the main image is up on pop dots but, this is pretty flat for the most part and is 4 1/2 X 6 in real life. i have a stack of these stamped to color so i can start making "call me" cards... you know call me make my day! :)
at any rate i hope you have a beautiful Christmas! (were gonna have a white one! whoo!) :)

Cute stuff! My youngest had her friend call last weekend and she was shocked because he is deaf! He actually used a service where an operator translated then typed her response! She was so excited so I looked it up online to show how it all worked! Hope you can stop by my blog sometime!
Love the watering can image Stacey, all the lace effects on your creations are adorable, wishing you a very merry christmas!
Your cards are wonderful, such soft pretty colors. So happy to hear that things are rolling along with your medical issues. I can only imagine how wonderful it is to have small things come back.
That underwear sentiment is funny. I really like the HM kissing the bird image. I like the phone card too and the story behind it.
