Reindeer Tags

Last week there was a "Tag Challenge" throw down on Thursday which was my birthday and I grinned and grinned because, I had seen this video from Jill Norwood where she made a variety of Christmas reindeer tags and I loved the little round ones esp. as I knew I had the same main focal stamp she used ( Red Lead Paperwork's North Pole Cancellation stamp ( I cannot find it in their store at the moment) and the Greetery's Crimped circle tag dies.) and I was like OOh those pieces fit together. So, I did dig out all the Red Lead cancellation stamps and started with the reindeer.

So, I stamped the tiny jolly old elf stamp from Anna Wight's Sweet Miss Daisy Stamps set called hope for all, the tiny Peace on Earth cancellation is an really old one from Hero Arts. The tiny snowflakes are from Anna's set called Twinkling Lights Santa. I did make changes to this so, they are not totally CASED but, they are pretty dang close. The green foliage branch papers are from the Recollections Gingerbread forest pad and the brown snowfall ish papers are from Their Christmas Noel pad. The red & tan Burlap string is from May Arts And I tied on some little tags from Lili of the Valley and an vintage bronze colored jingle bell and then tied them in bows. The back sides of these are Kraft cardstock and all the edges were inked with Distress Oxide Vintage Photo ink.

The next thing I happened to finish were these tags that were jump started by the ones I had done before this and the fact that I had seen Angie tossed down a "collage" challenge.

So, I started with this reindeer block stamp from Annette Allen Watkins and stamped it with some Pinecone ink on some really old K & Co. Printed paper that has a scrip text in four sections and a divided in a cross with buttons. But, I used a Crealies X stitched square die to cut them down with just a little bit of the paper peeking around the block and then just over stamped all the other bits and pieces. The North Pole, This side up & Fig 1.2,3 are from the Tim Holtz Field Notes set, the tiny Forever & Special Delivery are from the Impression Obsession Happy Mail set by Jeanne Streiff, The tags tied on the tops that say From Santa I am thinking may be Spellbinders. ( I made those a few weeks ago) the to a deer friend is from A Muse. The Christmas Hugs is from lili of the Valley. The Green & Tan burlap strings are from May arts. I have forgotten who makes the wood grain print that is behind it all and that particular tag die is a Fancy die from Hero Arts ( it has 3 different reinforcer dies with that tag) All the edges of everything were inked with some DOX vintage photo inks.
That's about it from me, I think I may have to start piling up the sets as I use them instead of putting them away as its some times a challenge to decide which sets were actually used on things like this. I hope you're doing well. Thanks for stopping by.
